Original Coverage: 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland Arrives As A Longer, Lifestyle-Friendly SUV
The Toyota bZ Woodland will only be available in one form, with 375 horsepower from its AWD electric drivetrain. Toyota estimates around 260 miles of range from its 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery and can be recharged from 10-80% in roughly 30 minutes. As standard, buyers get SofTex upholstery with heating in the front row, and available colors include Stone Brown and Black. Pricing will follow closer to the on-sale date, scheduled for sometime in early 2026. The Woodland comes with an NACS port to access the majority of charging stations, along with Plug & Charge functions. The wide, black overfender elements give the car a more imposing look, but the keen-eyed may notice something else. This version is nearly 6 inches longer and almost an inch higher at the rear, offering 30 cubic feet of rear cargo space. It also comes with 18-inch aluminum wheels with removable covers, and all-terrain rubber can be specified if you really do want to take it off-road. Towing capacity is rated at 3,500 pounds. Like the regular bZ, the Woodlands comes with a 36-month/36,000-mile basic new vehicle
Toyota announces the bZ Woodland, a rugged all-terrain electric SUV
Toyota is adding the bZ Woodland SUV to its U.S. lineup. It is the third new electric vehicle announced by Toyota this week. The Woodland is designed to be off-road and all-terrain friendly. Toyota expects the Woodland to arrive in early 2026 and pricing has not yet been announced. The bZ SUV and the C-HR crossover are both based on the company’s e-TNGA platform. It comes equipped with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) outlet as standard and supports DC fast charging, which can take it from 10 percent to 80 percent charge in around 30 minutes. It also has 8.3-inch ground clearance, standard roof rails, a Panoramic View Monitor with Multi-Terrain Monitor and a 3,500-pound towing capacity. It has 375 combined horsepower from its dual-motor setup and 260 miles of estimated range, the lowest of the three new electric models announced so far.
2024 Toyota bz4X Test Drive: Only For The Brand Loyalists
The Toyota bZ4X is the only fully electric vehicle in the Toyota lineup. It is offered with front-wheel or all-wheel drive and two different batteries. The two-row crossover has eye-catching styling with wide black trim around the fenders that wrap up toward the long, thin daytime running lights. It’s an attractive design that is shares with the Subaru Solterra, and it makes this electric crossover stand out from the vast sea of crossovers on the road today. While there’s nothing groundbreaking here, we appreciate that Toyota gave its first EV some presence, and we like its overall design. The bZ 4X is a solid first effort from Toyota and finally gives brand loyalists an electric option. We also have to call out the fantastic fabric on the dashboard. It has a textured pattern that is unique and attractive and keeps the interior from being bland. If your trip is long, especially on long trips, the bz4X should have plenty of room for three adults, but ideally two, especially for long trips on long journeys. This year, Toyota will offer an 8-way driver with an enhanced power seat that makes it easier to find the right driving position for the right
