3 Tennessee Titans named to unusual ‘best of’ list
CBS Sports compiled a list of players who ‘own’ their number. The Titans had three players appear on the list: Tony Pollard, Amani Hooker, and L’Jarius Sneed. The Titans haven’t exactly been a recent beacon of hope, but Hooker quietly logged a career-high five interceptions to help lead an underrated defense in 2024. He could be due for a big deal.
No. 38 – L’Jarius Sneed
Speaking of big deals, Sneed got one upon his acquisition from the Chiefs in 2024, only to miss all but five games due to injury in his Titans debut. Still, he’s been an All-Pro cover man when upright.
Cam Ward was never going to get the No. 1 spot with Ja’Marr Chase wearing the number. That could change next year, but we haven’t seen him on an NFL field yet.
Seeing Pollard, Hooker, and Sneed on this list bodes well for the 2025 season. All three are integral parts of this team, and if Sneed can stay healthy this year, we might get to see what he is truly capable of.
