“It doesn’t always pay to be loyal to one airline or your home airport, especially on major holidays,” Lindsay said. “You’re much more likely to find better deals and smaller crowds when you’re able to be flexible. Those that are able to fly in or out on different days or from a few different airports will have the best prices available to them.”
