Donald Trump is likely the most famous person ever to live in Palm Beach County. Michael Jordan lives in Bear’s Club, and is co-owner of the 1000 North restaurant, an upscale restaurant in Jupiter, and the Cincoro Tequila brand. The man who inspired Springsteen’s hit song “Glory Days,” Joe DePugh, died recently after a bout with cancer, according to multiple published reports. The “Rocky” and “Rambo” actor Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone have owned a Palm Beach home since December 2020. The once and future Material Girl, Madonna, spent some time renting a home in Wellington during equestrian season, although she never bought one. The golfer of all time, Tiger Woods, also lives on Jupiter Island, and owns a restaurant in Harbour Place, a restaurant and bar in Delray Beach, and a golf course in Mar-a-Lago’s exclusive PGA National Club. The Boss and wife Patti Scialfa have spent winters here for years. Daughter Jessica, a noted equestrian, has participated in the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington for some time and is a fixture here.
In 2014, The Palm Beach Post wrote about Springsteen’s motorcycle ride through Palm Beach County, stopping at many landmarks. He posted it on social media and called it “Flying solo to Lake Okeechobee on a sunny Saturday!”
There are other Palm Beach County connections to The Boss.
The man who inspired Springsteen’s hit song “Glory Days,” Joe DePugh, is a New Jersey native and longtime Palm Beach County resident. DePugh died recently after a bout with cancer, according to multiple published reports. He was 75.
Also, Springsteen’s longtime iconic saxophonist Clarence Clemons first started showing up regularly on the Palm Beach County scene in the 1990s. He once owned a West Palm Beach condo on Olive Avenue before settling into a serene, Zen-like, 18th-story pad in a Singer Island condominium, which is where he had the stroke that led to his death in 2011 at age 69.
Considered by many to be the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan lives in Bear’s Club, and is co-owner of the 1000 North restaurant, an upscale restaurant in Jupiter, and the Cincoro Tequila brand.
A limited liability company controlled by Jordan paid a recorded $16.5 million for a home in the exclusive Bear’s Club community in 2024. The home is not far from the sprawling 3-acre estate he built a decade ago.

Mike Tyson
The former heavyweight boxing champion is a homeowner in the Delray Beach area.
He bought a $13 million property in the exclusive Tierra del Rey Estates in 2025, according to a special warranty deed filed Monday, Jan. 13.
The deed, which reflects the sale of a 2.7-acre lot with a lake and a sprawling residence in an unincorporated area of Delray, includes Tyson’s full name as well as that of his wife, Lakiha Tyson, in a sale that was finalized Jan. 8.
Tyson’s daughter, Milan Tyson, is an aspiring tennis player who has met her idol Serena Williams, another Palm Beach County resident.
Sylvester Stallone
The “Rocky” and “Rambo” actor Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone have owned a home in Palm Beach since December 2020. They bought it for a recorded $35.38 million.
Stallone also is friends with Donald Trump, having visited Mar-a-Lago through the years.
Sylvester Stallone’s father, Frank Stallone Sr., was a Wellington resident since the 1990s, and was an avid polo player and season ticket holder at International Polo Club Palm Beach.
Tiger Woods
Considered one of the greatest golfers of all time, with 15 major wins, Tiger lives on Jupiter Island, and also owns The Woods, a restaurant in Jupiter’s Harbourside Place.
He is also co-founder of TGL, the Palm Beach Gardens-based interactive golf league, with Rory McIlroy, another Palm Beach County resident.
Woods also is co-owner of Popstroke, a vast 18-hole miniature golf course that has locations in West Palm Beach and Delray Beach. The West Palm Beach location is the flagship location. Adjacent to Palm Beach International Airport, it has two 18-hole miniature golf courses.
Jack Nicklaus
No “greatest list” can be complete with Jack, also considered the greatest golfer of all time.
Nicklaus is the only golfer to win more major championships (18) than Tiger.
He has won 120 professional events, 73 on the PGA Tour. An interesting fact is that he was runner-up in another 19 majors, which means a shot made here or there and his record for majors would be virtually unbeatable forever.
Nicklaus, a Hall of Famer, has golfed with four presidents — Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Donald Trump.
He’s lived in the same home in North Palm Beach for over 50 years. He and his wife Barbara moved to Palm Beach County in 1966.
Charlie Woods
Charlie Woods, Tiger Woods’ son, attends and plays golf at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens.
A rising star in his own right, Charlie helped Benjamin win the state title in boys’ golf in 2024.
Wayne Gretzky
Wayne Gretzky, arguably the greatest player in NHL history, has a home in Jupiter.
When Palm Beach Gardens opens a new $40 million ice rink complex, Gretzky plans to use the new rinks to host the Gretzky Hockey School.
Gretzky has also been seen at the West Palm Beach BBQ spot Pig Beach and even snapped photos with workers.

The famous fashion designer and his wife Dee Ocleppo used to have two Palm Beach homes, but sold one.
He’s a fixture in Palm Beach, most recently holding a question-and-answer session in 2025 with some young questioners at a luncheon to benefit the Center For Creative Education.
Billy Joel
“Piano Man” Billy Joel is a longtime part-time Palm Beach County resident.
In 2024, Joel purchased a waterfront home in Boca Raton’s exclusive Sanctuary development. Earlier in 2024, he sold his Manalapan estate for $42.6 million.
The $29 million Boca home, in the gated and guarded community off Spanish River Boulevard, is 15,000 square feet on a unique corner lot with more than an acre of land and 560 feet of water frontage on the Intracoastal Waterway.
Rod Stewart
The “Maggie May” singer has been a seasonal resident in Palm Beach through the years with his wife Penny Lancaster.
He’s been seen around town and has had a decades-long friendship with Donald Trump, attending many events at Mar-a-Lago. But then his wife told him he was not allowed to continue his friendship with Trump, his neighbor down the street, according to Stewart in a 2023 interview with Scottish Field magazine. Stewart said his wife thought Trump’s caddish attitude toward women was “a disgrace.”
“I used to go to [Trump’s] Christmas party and the balls … but my wife said ‘no,’” Stewart was quoted by Scottish Field.
Jon Bon Jovi
The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer is a Palm Beach homeowner who’s been seen around Palm Beach County.
He bought a home in Palm Beach around 2018. In 2020, Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley paid $43 million for a Palm Beach oceanfront estate.
Bon Jovi has been seen off the island as well.
In 2023, he visited Benny’s on the Beach, the iconic restaurant that’s perched on the Lake Worth Beach Pier.
Bon Jovi, who has visited Benny’s in the past, arrived sporting a University of Miami cap. He had lunch and posed for photos with restaurant staffers.
In 2023, Jon BonJovi was at a Palm Beach charity fundraising dinner and auction — and raised $15,000 for its programs.
The Hanley Foundation, which works to reduce substance abuse across the state, received a surprise visit from the rock star at its 18th annual Palm Beach Dinner at the Sailfish Club.

His wife Beth Ostrosky Stern told City & Shore Magazine in 2013 that the couple had shopped homes in tony Jupiter Island, about 25 miles north of Palm Beach where Tiger Woods and Celine Dion live. But they ultimately decided to buy their Palm Beach estate because they felt most comfortable in Palm Beach.
“We felt Palm Beach was the right choice for us. We have friends in Palm Beach and have spent many weekends, so we just ended up having a little life there, and we said let’s start looking at houses,” she told the magazine.
She added: “When we started dating, we always talked about Florida. We said someday let’s grow old there together. So that’s always been the plan.”
The one-time Miami Dolphins coach and long-time University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban bought an art-deco inspired beachfront home on Jupiter Island in 2023 for $17.5 million.
In May 2025, Saban met with Donald Trump and Alabama Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville to discuss possible reform measures for NIL (name, image, and likeness), which allows college athletes to get paid.

The huge pop star and “Problem” and “The Way” singer grew up in Boca Raton and got her start in local theater there. She went from the Boca children’s theater to Nickelodeon to stardom. She even got hit with a hockey puck at a Florida Panthers game … twice.
Guy Fieri
The celebrity chef and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives host has been seen here and there in Palm Beach County since he bought a waterfront home on Singer Island for $7.3 million in June 2023. Before that, in March 2021, he bought a home in Lake Worth Beach for $3.9 million. He eventually put the Lake Worth Beach home on the market for $7.9 million.
In 2025, Fieri treated area first responders. Fieri fed Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office employees using his new East Coast Disaster Relief Trailer, a component of the celebrity chef’s charitable foundation.
In 2024, Fieri’s Foundation partnered with Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar in Boca Raton to raise funds for hospitality workers who lost employment following the same two hurricanes.
Also in 2024, he stopped by Venezia Italian Pizza and Ristorante in North Palm Beach and did a short video with Venezia chef Albert. It was Fieri’s second trip to the much-loved restaurant.
Serena Williams
The greatest tennis player on the planet lives in Palm Beach Gardens. Now retired, she’s a businesswoman.
Her 23 career grand slam victories are the second-most all-time among women’s tennis players. Overall, she has won 73 singles titles and 23 doubles titles professionally. Williams is also the most lucrative women’s tennis player of all-time: $94.5 million in career winnings.
Venus Williams
The tennis star, and sister of Serena Williams, is a longtime Palm Beach County resident.
Venus won 49 career titles, including seven majors (five at Wimbledon and two at the U.S. Open), as well as an Olympic gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She was ranked No. 1 in the world in 2002.
A fatal car crash on Northlake Boulevard in 2017 involving Venus took the life of a 78-year-old Acreage man. The family of the deceased man settled a lawsuit they filed against Williams for an undisclosed amount. No charges were ever filed in the case. Since then, the family of the Acreage man blamed government agencies for their loved one’s death.
Venus sold her home in the Palm Beach Gardens’ BallenIsles community for $2.3 million around 2019.
The rap-rocker turned Southern rocker who arguably helped devalue Bud Light by millions in 2023 has a house in Jupiter Inlet Colony.
