Paulina Porizkova said yes!

The model, 60, is engaged to television writer Jeff Greenstein. Porizkova shared the news of her engagement in a romantic Instagram video on Wednesday, July 9, which showed her and Greenstein smiling and holding hands in a car as she shows off her ring.

“He asked,” Porizkova captioned the clip, which Greenstein also posted on his account with the caption, “She said yes.”

Greenstein is a writer who has worked on shows like “Will & Grace,” “Friends” and “Desperate Housewives.” He and Porizkova have been together since 2023.

Speaking on the “Today” show in January, Porizkova shared that she is “madly in love” with Greenstein. “I feel like I’ve just discovered love,” she said. “It’s crazy. There’s a whole story to it. I probably should write another book about this.”

Porizkova added that to be in love is “to feel treasured and safe, and like you are equal with your partner,” and she feels she was “stupid” about love “for a long time” before now.

In February, Porizkova celebrated the two-year anniversary of the first time she and Greenstein met in person. “I already knew,” she wrote on Instagram. “After a month of hour long conversations, I only had one question. And it could only be answered one way. With a kiss.”

She reflected in another Instagram post in January that she “thought I’d drown in darkness” four years ago. But “now I’m goofing around in the warmest of light,” she said, sharing a photo of herself and Greenstein. “Nothing lasts. Except maybe, hopefully, real love.”

Porizkova was previously married to musician Ric Ocasek, who died in 2019. They married in 1989 and had two children together. The year before Ocasek’s death, Porizkova shared that they had separated the prior year. “The photos of our happy family are, in fact, happy family photos; we are just no longer a couple,” she said. “The love we have for one another is so wide and deep it’s practically tangible, and that sort of love can never disappear.”

Porizkova was one of USA TODAY’s Women of the Year in 2024 and opened up in an interview about when her marriage started “falling apart.”

“I didn’t know how to fix this and maybe it couldn’t be fixed,” she told USA TODAY. “Giving up is very hard for me to do, I don’t like to give up, but I had to because there was no other choice.”
