First responders in Bend are still looking for two people missing after a group of six tumbled over Dillon Falls on the Deschutes River west of Bend on Saturday.

Rescuers sucessfully recovered three people from the river, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office said. One person died at the scene. As of Saturday evening, authorities had not yet found the two missing members of the group. They planned to continue the search on Sunday morning.

Dillon Falls is a 15-foot waterfall followed by challenging rapids and has been the site of several deaths.
