Travel + Leisure’s 2025 World’s Best Awards Spotlight 20 Hilton Properties Across 19 Categories
Hilton maintains its strong global standing with Travel + Leisure readers in 2025 rankings. Twenty properties representing five of Hilton’s industry-leading brands were recognized in the highly regarded annual list in 2025. Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi earned the No. 31 spot in the coveted Top 100 Hotels in the World category. Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort earned the no. 19 spot in Mexico, while Hilton Auckland ranked No. 5 among readers’ favorite city hotels in Australia and New Zealand. A total of more than 657,000 votes were cast across over 8,700 properties (hotels, cities, inn, or safari lodge) for the 2025 list. The Travel & Leisure 2025 World’S Best Awards will live in the August print issue of the magazine, and will remain on the publication’�s website as a guide for readers making travel plans through the end of 2025 and beyond. For each characteristic, respondents could choose a rating of excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor. The final scores are averages of these responses.
MCLEAN, Va. – The Travel + Leisure 2025 World’s Best Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the travel industry and selected entirely by Travel + Leisure readers, once again saw leading global hospitality brand, Hilton (NYSE: HLT) receive widespread recognition across numerous categories.
Twenty properties representing five of Hilton’s industry-leading brands – Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Curio Collection by Hilton – were recognized in the highly regarded annual list in 2025, across 19 separate award categories.
From Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, six properties were recognized, including an award for the No. 31 spot in the coveted Top 100 Hotels in the World category for Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi. Spanning three islands, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi boasts surrounding views of sparkling waters and white sandy beaches, serving as a tropical playground for exploring nature’s beauty. Adding to its accolades, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas earned the top spot in both the 10 Favorite Hotels in Las Vegas and 15 Favorite City Hotels in the U.S. categories, as well as in the list of Top 100 Hotels in the World, reaffirming its status as a premier luxury destination.
Additionally, spots in the Favorite Hotels in Los Angeles category were awarded to properties in the Hilton Luxury Brands portfolio – with Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills at No. 5, Oceana Santa Monica, LXR Hotels & Resorts at No. 7, and Conrad Los Angeles at No. 12.
From Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hong Kong received the No. 3 spot in the 3 Favorite Hotels in Hong Kong award, and the No. 4 for 5 Favorite Hotels in Tokyo was awarded to Conrad Tokyo, a luxurious high-rise hotel overlooking Tokyo Bay and the ancient Hamarikyu Gardens.
Hilton Hotels & Resorts was celebrated for its exceptional hospitality in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations from Mexico to Tokyo. Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort earned the No. 19 spot in Mexico, while Hilton Auckland ranked No. 5 among readers’ favorite city hotels in Australia and New Zealand. Hilton Tokyo secured the No. 5 spot in its city, Hilton Americas Houston was awarded the No. 5 ranking in the destination and rounding out the brand’s global recognition, Hilton Vienna Plaza was named one of Vienna’s five favorite hotels.
Within Curio Collection by Hilton, Mills House Charleston earned the No. 12 spot among Favorite Hotels in Charleston, showcasing the brand’s distinctive character and strong sense of place.
Nearly 180,000 Travel + Leisure readers completed the 2025 survey. A total of more than 657,000 votes were cast across over 8,700 properties (hotels, cities, cruise lines, etc.). Hotels were classified as either resort hotel, city hotel, inn, or safari lodge based on their location and amenities, and they were specifically rated on rooms and facilities, location, service, food, and value. For each characteristic, respondents could choose a rating of excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor. The final scores are averages of these responses.
