RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Wing’s Korean Fried Chicken was just named one of Yelp’s Top 20 Hot & New Korean Eateries, according to Yelp Elites. Their food is not only delicious, but they’re the originator of Korean fried chicken in our community, which is so good because of the double frying technique that keeps the chicken juicy and gives it that extra crunch.

KOLO 8’s Hana Altenburg stopped by to talk to owner, Woony Kim, and Michael Tragash, Yelp Reno community director, about how the restaurant has lots to offer including a hand dipped Korean style corn dog experience featuring “cheese pulls for days,” a selection of seasoning shakers that allow you to craft it to your liking, kimbap (hand rolled Korean style sushi), soju cocktails and so much more.

The restaurant was founded by two brothers, one of whom is a US army veteran, and the Sparks location is located next to HK Market, owned by their parents.
