SpaceX launches Starlink 10-26 mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The rocket launched at 5:01 a.m. EDT Saturday July 26 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral. An hour after launch, the contrail or jellyfish effect lingered in the sky over the Space Coast from the SpaceX 10- 26 launch. SpaceX launched 28 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit on mission 10-25. The mission is part of a two-year, $100 million program to build a constellation of high-tech communications satellites. The first of the constellation is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The second is scheduled to launch in 2018 and will carry a second set of satellites into space in 2019.
