Selena Gomez’s Whataburger order

Thirty-three-year-old philanthropist, singer, and actress Selena Gomez hasn’t shied away from expressing her love for Whataburger, even years after spending a majority of her time living on the East and West Coasts. The most recent mention came back in March, when her fiancée, Benny Blanco, recalled a grand gesture he made for her on Valentine’s Day in a podcast episode with host Jay Shetty.

Blanco described ordering one of Gomez’s favorite treats from a Las Vegas storefront, flying it to her Los Angeles home, to express his love (never settle, ladies). In the episode, Gomez says she loves the biscuits and Texas Toast with gravy, and recalls the moment as her favorite with Blanco, alongside their proposal.

Her order has slightly shifted over the years, but some of her tastes have remained the same. In 2018, Gomez told KVIL radio station host Mike Shannon that her go-to order was a No. 13 (three-piece Whatchick’n strips) with a side of gravy.

Lainey Wilson’s Whataburger order

Earlier this year, Whataburger announced ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson as its official brand ambassador for 2025. The company highlighted Wilson’s fandom for the restaurant, which began in a small town in Louisiana and has lasted into her newfound country music fame, as its reason for selecting her.

Wilson’s post-concert tradition consists of feasting on a honey butter chicken biscuit, according to Whataburger.

“I’ve been rolling through Whataburger drive-thrus since I was just a small-town girl in Louisiana with big dreams,” Wilson said in a news release. “From grabbing Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits with my daddy between horse sales and rodeos to late-night stops on the road playing honky-tonks, Whataburger’s been part of my story every step of the way.”

It costs $3.69 for the biscuit alone, according to the company’s website.

Kane Brown’s Whataburger order

Country musician Kane Brown, on the other hand, was a bit more eccentric in expressing his love for the food chain. Earlier this spring, Brown was spotted hopping inside a fan’s car to order at the restaurant’s drive-thru. Allegedly, his tour bus was much too tall to fit through the entryway.

It all ended up working out, though. The “What Ifs” singer got his burger, which he called the “best damn” one he “ever had, and fans got to snap some photos with him in the parking lot.

Simone Biles’ Whataburger order

Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, who lived in Spring for a time, also grew up eating at the fast-food joint. In 2017, she told Houston Eater that though she mostly had home-cooked meals, when her family did go out, she opted for a regular cheeseburger from Whataburger.

“You can never go wrong with that,” Biles told the outlet, likely referring to the menu’s No. 7, priced at $7.37 (which also comes with bacon).

Former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s Whataburger order

Politics is a tiring field. To cope, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, husband of former Vice President Kamala Harris, orders a number two combo (the double-meat Whataburger with fries and a drink) without pickles, and adds onion rings to the mix. According to his video on Instagram, he pairs the feast with a fountain drink mixture of two-thirds of Diet Coke and one-third of regular Coke.

Ed Sheeran’s Whataburger order

According to the “Shape of You” singer Ed Sheeran, the other figure he’s into is burger-sized. In a podcast episode with Alex Cooper, the artist says Whataburger is what comes to mind when considering the best fast-food chain in America. Sheeran adds that the ones in Texas, specifically, are his favorites.

Kodak Black’s Whataburger order

Meanwhile, Florida rapper Kodak Black told Flawless Houston that he prefers the restaurant’s breakfast options. In a 2024 video, he tells an interviewer that he “smacked” on a Whataburger’s pancake platter, which comes with bacon and hashed browns, the breakfast burger (not specified), and a honey butter biscuit with gravy.

B.J. Novak’s Whataburger order

Finally, The Office’s B.J. Novak tells People that his go-to order is also the chain’s honey butter biscuit. With sadness, he added that it’s only served after 11 p.m.
