Colleton County deputies charge 5 in string of storage business burglaries
Michael Hayes, Albert Brodie, Quaylon Reynolds, Cheryl Plowden and Paul Sowell were all arrested in connection with six break-ins. Investigators estimate $30,000 worth of property was reported stolen and some of the stolen items have been recovered.
Michael Hayes, Albert Brodie, Quaylon Reynolds, Cheryl Plowden and Paul Sowell were all arrested in connection with six break-ins at Monster Self Storage, Sgt. Laura Rutland said.
Deputies say the burglaries occurred between July 31 and Aug. 4. Investigators estimate $30,000 worth of property was reported stolen and some of the stolen items have been recovered, they say.

Deputies are working to identify any additional suspects and recover remaining property.
