VTuber Rileycs on Twitch

A Twitch streamer who went viral during Battlefield 6’s first open beta has been hit with a suspension following accusations of cheating.

On August 9, popular VTuber Rileycs — known for her cat-girl avatar — posted gameplay clips of the beta on X (formerly Twitter). One particular highlight, where she landed several precise shots, quickly drew attention. However, it wasn’t long before viewers began questioning the legitimacy of her aim.

The criticism largely centered on a moment where Riley eliminated one opponent before spinning 180 degrees (at the 13-second mark of the clip). Many accused her of using an aimbot.

Riley attempted to defend herself by posting handcam footage to prove her aim was legitimate, but on August 11, Twitch temporarily suspended her channel.

The exact reason for Twitch’s action remains unclear, and it’s not confirmed whether EA also took action against her Battlefield 6 account. Riley later claimed she would be unbanned “later today,” suggesting the penalty was only a one-day suspension, which aligns with Twitch’s policy for first-time cheating offenses.
