Lukas Podolski has been ruled out for several weeks with a thigh injury. He is expected to be out until at least the end of the month. The injury is thought to have been caused by a knock to his left thigh. He had been training with the squad before the game against Lazio.
Napoli will release an injury update on Lukaku today, Monday, August 18, but according to Corriere dello Sport and other prominent Italian media, the defending Serie A champions are already aware that the Belgian forward will remain out of action for several weeks.
