The Maine Department of Labor is getting wages back to employees they say weren’t paid by their employer.
The department sued Mostafa Elfaham and his business East Coast Coatings for more than $100,000 owed to employees.
It says that Elfaham refused to pay almost $30,000 in credit card tips.

The department says he also failed to pay his employees on time or at all for 266 pay periods.
The money paid by Elfaham will be going to 29 employees.
