HUDSON, Colo. — Drivers have a new place to stop when traveling through northeast Colorado.

Pilot held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new store at 7044 County Road 49 in Hudson.

Located along Interstate 76 at Exit 34, just northeast of the Denver metro area, Pilot said the new travel center has a modern, open-concept design, four self-checkouts, spacious restrooms, and public laundry facilities.

The largest travel center network in North America, Pilot said the new location also features Cinnabon treats, a hot and cold deli area, and large beverage coolers.

“We are excited to welcome the Hudson community to our new travel center,” said Shannon Stone, director of store modernization at Pilot. “Whether fueling up, grabbing a bite to eat or enjoying a cup of the best coffee on the interstate, we look forward to being the pick-me-up you need on your daily commute or as you’re just passing through.”

Pilot made a $20,000 donation to Weld County School District RE-3J in a ceremony with Hudson Mayor Joe Hammock.
