Mumbai: Commuters at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) on Sunday saw a noticeable presence of Maratha quota protesters who entered the station premises to escape the rain. While the crowding was less compared to peak days, the movement of agitators on the platforms drew the attention of railway staff and security forces. Personnel from RPF and GRP remained deployed to maintain order, and officials said train operations continued without disruption.Authorities have advised passengers to remain cautious on Monday, when a larger gathering of protesters is expected in south Mumbai.Roads around CSMT saw heavy presence of protesters on Sunday. Traffic police said while there were blockages around CSMT, Eastern Freeway and P D’mello Road were not as badly impacted as Friday and Saturday. There was some congestion reported at Chembur while getting on to Eastern Freeway.
