Hyderabad: Deputy chief minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday stated that the Congress govt is not indulging in political vendetta as alleged by BRS MLA T Harish Rao, but is only confining the discussion to the facts revealed in the PC Ghose commission probe report on irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project. During a short discussion on the Kaleshwaram project report in the assembly, Bhatti clarified that if the Congress govt wanted to indulge in political vendetta, it would have taken action immediately after the piers of the Medigadda barrage collapsed.”But the Congress govt chose to be transparent and instituted judicial inquiry. Now, the govt is taking the opinion of all the parties in the assembly on what action should be taken based on the report findings. And a decision will be taken,” he said. Bhatti alleged that the previous BRS govt redesigned the Kaleshwaram project to loot over a Rs 1 lakh crore public money.
