– Carthage with a rush but the shot goes just wide.
South Jefferson moves on by beating Carthage 3-0.
Colton-Pierrepont hosted St. Lawrence Central in boys’ Northern Athletic Conference soccer.
– Ten minutes into the second half, Merrick Frary sets up Jacob Evans for the game’s first goal. It’s 1-0 Larries.
– Twelve minutes later, the Colts’ Jack Garcia fires off a 25-yard shot that rises into the upper-right corner of the net, tying the game at 1-1.
– With darkness looming in the second overtime, Tyler Lovely on the run, delivers a sharp-angle shot that tucks inside the opposite post for an unassisted sudden-victory goal.
Colton-Pierrepont defeated St. Lawrence Central 2-1.
