The truth of the matter, friends, is that we’ll be eating a lot of burgers next week, so you may just want to keep your stretchy pants handy. Just days after we’ve gorged on hot dogs, burgers, and potato salad all day for Memorial Day, Burger King announced that they’ll be giving away free hamburgers with a purchase of $1 or more on May 28 to celebrate National Hamburger Day. Sure, you might not want another burger, but who are we to deny the gifts of the universe?

In order to take advantage of the deal, you must be a member of the Royal Perks Burger King rewards program, order through the app or online, and activate the deal under the “offers” tab. In addition to this freebie Burger King is also dishing out tons of deals leading up to the big day, including a free frozen Fanta Strawberry with a purchase of $1 or more on May 24, a free 4-piece nugget with purchase of $1 or more on May 25, buy one get one free Whoppers on May 26, and a free original chicken sandwich with purchase of $1 or more on May 27.

And if all that wasn’t enough, now through the end of May, BK is giving Royal Perks members a chance to get a free burger for only 125 crowns, which is half the normal amount of reward points it usually costs. Now, if that doesn’t get you in the spirit to eat a thousand burgers, we don’t know what will. We might need to buy some new stretchy pants.
