During his recent address in Bikaner, Modi elaborated on what sindoor means for Indian women and how he has taken upon the responsibility to avenge all those who have lost their spouse due to an act of terror by Pakistan. Even during his public address in Gujarat, he said: “The people of Pakistan must make a choice. The children of Pakistan must decide; is this path truly right for them? Are they really benefiting from it? The games being played for the sake of power, are they improving the lives of Pakistan’s children? I want to tell the children of Pakistan: your rulers, your army, thriving under the shadow of terrorism are endangering your lives and destroying your future.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday blasted Pakistan on the issue of terrorism and said that the neighbouring country “can never win a straight war with India”, which is why it uses terror as a weapon. In what can be seen as a warning for Pakistan, PM Modi said that he is standing for the country, and while his mind remains calm, his blood keeps boiling.
Making a reference to Operation Sindoor, in which India struck deep inside Pakistan to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan forgot that “Modi is the servant of Mother India” and nothing but ‘sindoor’ flows in his veins.

“Pakistan can never win in a direct fight with India. Hence, it uses terrorism as a weapon against India. This went on for decades after independence… Pakistan spread terrorism, killed innocent people, and created an environment of terror.. But, Pakistan forgot one thing, now the servant of Mother India, Modi, is standing here with pride. Modi ka dimaag thanda hai lekin lahu garam hota hai. Modi ki nasson mein, lahu nahin, garam sindoor beh raha hai,” PM Modi said at his first public meeting since the May 7 Operation Sindoor in Rajasthan’s Bikaner.

He further hailed the Indian Armed Forces for Operation Sindoor’s success and said that their valour brought Pakistan to its knees.
He said that the government gave the forces free hand to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed on April 22.
“On April 22, terrorists removed the Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters after asking about their religion. The bullets were fired in Pahalgam, but 140 crore Indians felt the pain. Every Indian had committed that terrorists will be given bigger punishment than their imagination. We fulfilled the resolve due to your blessings and the courage of our armed forces. Our government gave free hand to all three armed forces. The tri-services devised a strategy so impactful that Pakistan was forced to go down on its knees. When sindoor becomes an explosive, the result is for everyone to see,” PM Modi said.

PM Modi gave a stern message to Pakistan from a bordering state, stating that those who came to erase the ‘sindoor’ of Indian women were ground into dust.
“In retaliation for the April 22 attack, India destroyed nine of Pakistan’s major sites within 22 minutes. Duniya aur desh ke dushmanon ne dekh liya ki jab sindoor Barood ban jata hai to kya nateeja hota hai,” he said.

The Prime Minister reiterated his remark that he made in the address to the nation earlier this month, and said that India will not be scared of Pakistan’s nuclear threats.
India had launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. India destroyed nine terror targets deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, killing over 100 terrorists. Pakistan stepped on the escalation ladder and sent its drones and missiles into the Indian territory, targeted at the cities and military installations. India’s robust air defence systems took down almost all of the projectiles, protecting the lives of citizens.

Indian armed forces then struck back with their projectiles inside Islamabad, Lahore, Sialkot, and other top cities of Pakistan, striking their targets.
After India struck Pakistan’s airbases, their DGMO reached out to the Indian counterpart on May 10, seeking ceasefire. Both nations reached an “understanding” to halt the military action. However, PM Modi made it clear that Operation Sindoor was on a pause and was not over yet. The government said that any future terror attack on India will be seen as an “Act of War” by Pakistan.
