Ben Affleck leaves restaurant alone after Jennifer Lopez was seen kissing Diego Luna in lingerie
Ben Affleck was spotted leaving a Beverly Hills steakhouse Friday night. The next morning, he was spotted out for a walk with his German Shepherd. The actor is gearing up for his next big-screen outing alongside Matt Damon. The pair are working on a new crime thriller set to hit Netflix in January 2026. The Rip is based on the true story of a real-life cop and will be released under their joint production company, Artists Equity.
A reimagining of the 1993 Broadway musical, itself based on Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel, the film sees Lopez playing a fictional movie star named Aurora, imagined by a gay hairdresser, Luis Molina (played by Tonatiuh), who is imprisoned for allegedly corrupting a minor. Directed by Oscar-winner Bill Condon, the musical is set for a theatrical release on October 10, 2025.
Dressed casually yet stylishly, the famous actor was photographed exiting the upscale Steak 48 restaurant.
From steakhouse evenings to early morning strolls
The next morning, Affleck was up early, spotted taking his German Shepherd for a walk near his Los Angeles home. The Air star adopted the dog back in January as a protective companion amid safety concerns following a string of Southern California wildfires.
The well-trained pup accompanied Affleck off-leash as they strolled, with the actor dressed in familiar off-duty style. He clutched a favorite coffee drink in hand, adding a routine touch to the chilly morning.
While Affleck has remained relatively low-key lately, he’s gearing up for his next big-screen outing alongside longtime friend and collaborator Matt Damon.
The duo is currently working on The Rip, a new crime thriller set to hit Netflix in January 2026. Affleck and Damon will portray Miami police officers in the film, which is based on the true story of a real-life cop. The project will be released under their joint production company, Artists Equity, which they co-founded in 2022.
To promote the project, the Oscar-winning pair recently teamed up with Sesame Street favorite Cookie Monster in a playful promotional skit. Dressed in navy blue windbreakers emblazoned with “Police,” Affleck and Damon burst into a room for a faux raid.
