“I’m happy with how the performance went, but also the whole event,” the 28-year-old middleweight from Colchester told BBC Essex.
“It was a fantastic occasion, the ring walk in particular was really special for me. My name got announced, I could hear the crowd and feel the energy – I knew I’d done well on tickets but it felt like the whole stadium got behind me.”
