NASA Supplemental Information for Age Discrimination in Employment Act
NASA is offering a Deferred Resignation Program from June 9, 2025, through July 25, 2025. Under this program, eligible employees will be offered a chance to receive certain benefits in exchange for a waiver of rights. Employees have been advised of their right to consult with an attorney about the waiver agreement before signing the agreement.

Those benefits and waivers are described in the Deferred Resignation Program waiver agreement. Once an employee has received a copy of the Deferred Resignation Program waiver agreement, the employee has 45 days to consider and, if desired, accept the terms. Employees who accept these terms should return a signed copy of the waiver agreement to their Human Capital Office DRP POC. Employees have been advised of their right to consult with an attorney about the waiver agreement before signing the agreement.
Once an employee returns a signed copy of the waiver agreement, that employee has 7 days to revoke that agreement.
The employees eligible for the Deferred Resignation Program include all federal employees in NASA except for Intermittent, phased retirement, Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and Pathways interns in a non-pay status. The following is a listing of the job titles and ages of NASA employees who were and were not eligible for the Deferred Resignation Program and the offer of consideration for signing the waiver agreement.
