According to SpaceX, the launch marked the third flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission. Following stage separation, the booster successfully landed on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

Monday’s rocket launch was part of SpaceX’s ongoing mission to expand global internet coverage through its Starlink satellite network. The clear weather and timing of the launch shortly after sunset contributed to the spectacular visibility of the twilight plume that followed the rocket’s path across the sky.
