The first evacuation flight under Operation Sindhu, carrying 110 Indian citizens, arrived in New Delhi from Yerevan, Armenia, earlier in the day. The mission was launched by India to evacuate its nationals from Iran amid the escalating Iran-Israel conflict. “The Government of India accords the highest priority to the safety and security of Indian nationals abroad,” MEA said.

NEW DELHI: The ministry of external affairs on Thursday informed that the central government had decided to evacuate those Indian nationals from Israel “who wish to leave” in the wake of the ongoing Iran-Israel crisis.

“In view of the recent developments between Israel and Iran, the Government of India has decided to evacuate from Israel those Indian nationals who wish to leave. Their travel from Israel to India will be facilitated through the land borders and thereafter by air to India,” MEA said in a press release.

It also shared the details for registration: “All Indian nationals are requested to register themselves with the Embassy of India in Tel Aviv at (https://www.indembassyisrael.gov.in/indian_national_reg), if not already registered.

It informed that the government continued to “monitor the situation closely” and said, “The Government of India accords the highest priority to the safety and security of Indian nationals abroad. The Government will continue to monitor the situation closely.
