PORTLAND, Maine — Baseball legends, NFL stars, and local fan favorites will tee off this week for a good cause as the Drive Fore Kids celebrity golf tournament returns to the Falmouth Country Club June 20–22.
Former Red Sox left fielder and Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Rice. Three-time NFL All-Pro Sterling Sharpe. NESN broadcaster Tom Caron. Former Red Sox pitcher and three-time World Series champion Jon Lester. Not a bad lineup, eh? Those are just some of the celebrities who’ll be participating in the third Drive Fore Kids charity event.
The tournament gives fans a chance to see celebrities up close, get autographs, and have fun, all while supporting charities in Maine. This year’s beneficiaries are the Dempsey Center and the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.
