West Wittering beach parking sold out – do not travel
West Wittering Beach has sold out for Saturday, June 21. The beach is one of the most popular in Sussex with thousands of visitors. People have been advised not to attend unless they have booked their parking.
A statement shared on social media reads: “We are sold out for Saturday, June 21.
“Please do not travel to the area without a pre-booked ticket. You will be refused entry.
“There is no alternative parking in the local area.
“There are still spaces for Sunday, June 22, please follow the link to book – we are still having issues with our website currently.”

The beach, with its white sands, is among the most popular beaches in Sussex and welcomes thousands of visitors each year.
Temperatures are continuing to soar today as an amber health heat alert remains in place.
In West Wittering, it is set to reach 26C while Brighton could see the mercury rise to 29C, according to the Met Office.
