WEST FARGO — As Ryan Camerillo showed bunt, Austin Ohleen broke towards home to score the game-winning run in the eighth inning over Team Manitoba in the West Fargo Baseball Legion tournament Saturday at Young Field.

Camerillo’s squeeze bunt bounded up the first-base line and Ohleen scored on a head-first dive before Manitoba’s first baseman fielded the ball to solidify the win.

Caden Rademacher worked all eight innings, giving up zero runs on four hits and striking out five. Trey Husar doubled. Tate Herrmann and Hudson Dinger both hit 1-for-3.

West Fargo Patriots 9, Rapid City Post 22 4

WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Patriots tallied five runs in the sixth inning to knock off Rapid City Post 22 in the West Fargo Legion tournament Saturday night at Young Field.

Tied at 4-4 in the bottom of the sixth, West Fargo scored a pair on an error and sacrifice fly to open the frame. Hudson Dinger followed with a triple to right field and scored on a balk. Cooper Fuchs poked an RBI single to cap the surge.

Dinger finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Jordan Clemenson worked five innings, allowing two earned runs on three hits with three strikeouts. Parker Henrich recorded the win in two innings of relief. Jett Collins and Fuchs also had two hits.

Moorhead Blues 3, East Gretna 0

OMAHA — Carson Heinsch twirled a one-hit gem on the mound to shutout East Gretna in the Battle of Omaha Tournament on Saturday at Skutt Catholic High School.

Heinsch worked all seven innings, awarding four walks and striking out 12. Austin Schwantz poked an RBI double to left field in the third inning.

Moorhead scored two more in the fifth inning on an error and hit batsman. Schwantz and Jonas Schaumann both finished 2-for-3.

Jr Jay CWS Classic, Omaha

Millard South (Neb.) 10, Fargo Post 2 3

GRETNA, Neb. — Millard South knocked off Fargo Post 2 in the Jr Jay CWS Classic on Saturday afternoon.

South scored five runs in the seventh inning. Post 2 scored all their runs in the fourth inning.

Levi Sveet hit an RBI triple in the fourth inning and finished with two hits. Kellen Dougherty also had two hits. Ben Sheets threw five innings, allowing three earned runs in the loss.

Fargo Post 400 7, North Platte (Neb.) 0

PAPILLION, Neb. — The Fargo Post 400 Stars scored five runs in the sixth inning to power past North Platte in the Jr. Jay CWS Classic on Saturday.

Starter Matt Bryant worked all seven innings on the Mound for Post 400, allowing zero earned runs on six hits and striking out eight. Kane Mathiason tripled twice and finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

Jayce Burns also had two triples. Kaleb Blanchette and Alex Christofferson both hit RBI singles in the sixth.
