Varsity Kansas Triumphs in Kansas high school sports this past season

This collection of stories spotlights standout performances and state title wins by Kansas high school athletes and teams this past sports season.

Andale’s track teams continued their dominance by sweeping state championships, while Andover’s senior girls swimmers capped their careers with another team title and new records. In boys golf, Colt Farrow won the Class 5A individual championship and Grant Hatzenbuehler led Andover to a tense regional victory.

Jack Guthridge from Kapaun Mt. Carmel earned top honors in boys track with four state gold medals, and Dejuan Colbert became a state champion in the 100 meters. The All-State basketball lists recognized top performers like Jaliya Davis and Keaton Wagler, highlighting both team and individual achievements across classes.
