Batman fans losing their minds as Arkham Knight sequel appears online
concept art for a cancelled Batman Arkham game has come to light. It appears as if the game would’ve featured an older Bruce Wayne, Damian Wayne, as well as Killer Croc and Huntress. It’s widely believed that this cancelled game would have taken inspiration from the animated Batman Beyond. Rocksteady confirmed that Batman hadn’t been killed (along with the rest of the Justice League); instead, it was a mere clone. This means that a new Arkham game could be produced, and the rumour mill is already suggesting that a Batman Beyond-inspired project might be in the works.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was a colossal flop, on that we all agree.
Rocksteady’s decision to shift from a single-player title to a live-service one did not pay off.
The game was dead on arrival, which makes it all the more impressive that devs supported the title with new content for one entire year, with the last content update arriving in January 2025.

Killer Croc’s character design is positively terrifying – and judging by that pretty intricate leg brace, it certainly seems as if this Bruce Wayne has fallen on hard times.
It’s widely believed that this cancelled game would have taken inspiration from the animated Batman Beyond which, I must say, sounds peak.

As we’re all well aware though, the idea was canned and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League appeared in its stead.
Talk about a downgrade, huh?
There is a light at the end of the tunnel here though, folks.
In Suicide Squad’s final content update, Rocksteady confirmed that Batman hadn’t been killed (along with the rest of the Justice League); instead, it was a mere clone.

Could Rocksteady be quietly reviving the cancelled game? I’m keeping my fingers crossed that that’s the case.
