Galaxy Z Flip 7 renders showcase some vivid colors for Samsung’s next clamshell [Gallery]
Samsung’s cover display-extending Galaxy Z Flip 7 appears to be right around the corner, and a new leak is giving us some insight into what colors you might be able to pick up at launch. In addition to the all-too-expected black model, Blass shared images of the Flip 7 in navy blue and a lovely coral. As expected, it looks nearly identical to the Flip 6, complete with a smaller, folder-shaped cover screen. We’re expecting to learn all about the next-gen foldables at an Unpacked event rumored for July 9th.
Hot off this morning’s Galaxy Watch 8 series leaks, Evan Blass also shared images of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 with his newsletter subscribers. For the most part, these images show exactly what we’ve expected for months now: a familiar clamshell design with a cover display fully extended from edge to edge, with cutouts for the two camera modules. It’s a style that’s worked out well for Motorola’s Razr lineup these past two generations, and I’d expect something similar from the Flip 7.
What is new, however, are these colors. While Samsung has been decidedly boring lately with its flagship color choices — particularly it’s current obsessions with its very-silver, not-very-blue “Silverblue” hue — the Flip series has always offered a pretty wide-ranging selection of tones to pick from. While today’s leak only includes three shades, it’s good to see that Samsung isn’t losing its vibrant approach with the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
In addition to the all-too-expected black model, Blass shared images of the Flip 7 in navy blue and a lovely coral. We’ve actually seen both of these colors from Samsung already this year, as the Galaxy S25 and S25+ both come in Navy and, exclusive to Samsung.com, “Coralred.” Both transfer well to the company’s clamshell — at judging by these renders, at least — though considering the seven color options the Flip 6 came in, I’m hoping we see at least one or two more shades at launch.

Blass also shared renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, the company’s first budget-friendly foldable designed to compete with Motorola’s base Razr. As expected, it looks nearly identical to the Flip 6, complete with a smaller, folder-shaped cover screen. Unlike the more colorful Flip 7, Blass’s images only show the Z Flip 7 FE in black and white, a move that — assuming these are the only two colors available for this particular phone — call to mind Apple’s iPhone 16e more than the Pantone-partnered Razr series.
No matter how many colors this year’s Flip(s) come in, we’re expecting to learn all about Samsung’s next-gen foldables at an Unpacked event rumored for July 9th.
