Jackson State’s Mo Williams to be inducted into MS Sports Hall of Fame
Jackson State head men’s basketball coach Mo Williams will be inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame. Williams, along with legendary Southern Miss baseball head coach Scott Berry, Steve Freeman, Mike Justice, Dexter McCluster, Derrick Nix, Steve Rives, and Robbie Webb, will be honored on August 1-2. The induction ceremony will begin with a ticketed reception at 5:30 pm.
Williams, an NBA Champion who enjoyed an illustrious 13-year career in the league and a former Murrah High School basketball standout, was announced as a member of the Class of 2025 on Monday.
Williams, along with legendary Southern Miss baseball head coach Scott Berry, Steve Freeman, Mike Justice, Dexter McCluster, Derrick Nix, Steve Rives, and Robbie Webb, will all be inducted on the weekend of August 1-2.

The public can meet the inductees on Saturday, August 2 from 10 am to 11:30 am at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.
The induction ceremony will begin with a ticketed reception at 5:30 pm and the program beginning at 7 pm at the Clyde Muse Center.
