According to Apple’s system status page, the outage impacts a variety of iCloud services, including:
iCloud Mail
iCloud Web Apps
iCloud Storage Upgrades
iWork for iCloud
Photos
Per Apple, the problem with each of these services started at 2:36 p.m.
Users affected by the outage may be unable to access these services altogether, or encounter sync issues or other errors.
The number of impacted services per Apple’s status page has also expanded from what was originally listed, indicating it’s a widespread issue affecting many different apps and services.
Earlier today, there was a separate outage issue that impacted Apple’s business users, with Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, and Apple School Manager all affected.
Those issues were marked by Apple as resolved around 2:30 p.m. However, it’s possible the new outages have a related root cause.

iCloud users endure sudden outage June 24, 2025
Apple’s iCloud services were experiencing an outage on Tuesday. Users were unable to access iCloud Mail, Photos, and the iWork suite of apps. The issue was resolved around 7 p.m. Eastern. Earlier on Tuesday, a different outage impacted Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, and Apple School Manager.
Apple’s iCloud services were experiencing an outage, and impacted users are experiencing issues with iCloud Mail, Photos, and the iWork suite of apps.
On Tuesday, users of iCloud Mail reported issues with this and other Apple Services. A number of people were unable to access iCloud Mail, with some experiencing difficulties even after gaining access.
According to Apple’s System Status page, the company’s iCloud services, including iCloud Mail, iCloud Web Apps, iCloud Storage Upgrades, Photos, and iWork integration, were all impacted by an outage that began at 2:36 PM ET. Another issue at 3:57 PM affected the Find My service, which lets users locate and track their Apple devices.
The iPhone maker’s website notes that some users were experiencing problems using and accessing the affected services. The issue was resolved around 7 p.m. Eastern.
Earlier on June 24, a different outage impacted Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, and Apple School Manager, though the issues with these particular services have since been fixed.
Outages of Apple’s online services are an occasional hazard, and sometimes they can happen at inconvenient times. Sometimes, multiple issues crop up in quick succession. iCloud Mail and iCloud Web Apps experienced similar issues in 2024, and we also saw a more recent Apple Intelligence outage in June 2025.
