The 2025 Core77 Design Awards Built Environment Winners
Winning the Professional Built Environment category is the WERKSVIERTEL MUNICH project designed by Johannes Ernst at Steidle Architekten. The winning Student entry (this project won two categories) in Built Environment went to Frida Neckmar, Luisa Ebeling, Silvester Koessler, and Xiaoyu Yu from the Umeå Institute of Design for MIRA.
The jury team for the 2025 Core77 Design Awards Built Environment category was led by Bryan Chou the Design Principal at Mikyoung Kim. Joining Chou on the jury were Haemee Han, Director at Jaemee Studio, Simon Beer, Principal at OJB Landscape Architecture, Ben Peterson, Director of Community & Collaborative Design at Boston Society for Architecture, and Paul Chan, Design Architect at Studio Paul Chan.
The 2025 Core77 Design Awards Built Environment category honors human-made surroundings that provide settings for people’s activities. Spatial and physical structures, interiors, exhibitions, or installations, either permanent or temporary, for private, public, commercial, or industrial purposes.
