The BBB Business Training Program offers a curated series of microlearning courses in key business disciplines. As many locally owned businesses face the challenge of generational transition, a new initiative by New Mexico State University Global Campus and the Better Business Bureau Serving New Mexico and Southwest Colorado aims to provide accessible, high-impact training to ensure long-term success and continuity.
The BBB Business Training Program offers a curated series of microlearning courses in key business disciplines, including management, finance and operations, to give future business leaders in New Mexico and southwest Colorado with the tools they need to thrive.
“This partnership with the BBB goes beyond education; it’s about investing in the strength and sustainability of local economies,” said Seth Miner, vice chancellor of strategic enrollment management for NMSU Global Campus. “We’re excited to provide flexible, affordable training that directly supports workforce development and small business success across the region.”
As part of the program, NMSU Global Campus will offer a minimum 25% discount on microlearning course fees for participants enrolled in the BBB Business Training Program. To further eliminate barriers to access, the BBB has established the Southwest Community Empowerment Foundation, a new nonprofit that will provide scholarships and financial assistance to participating accredited businesses. This ensures that cost does not prevent qualified individuals and teams from pursuing growth and development.
