As Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez had their big and VIP wedding in Venice, a short but hot meet-up between Orlando Bloom and Kim Kardashian got some eyes on them. The two stars said hi to each other with warmth right outside the Gritti Palace Hotel on June 26, just before the multi-day celebration meant to happen at Bezos’s wedding.

Bloom, 48, looked calm and happy during his first time out in public since he and Katy Perry, his wife for nine years, ended things. He wore a black muscle tank and shorts and gave air kisses and a hug to Kardashian, 44, who looked great in a black Balenciaga skirt, top, and cool sunglasses. Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner were also there, adding to the star-filled moment.

This meet-up got more looks because, at the 2024 New York Fashion Week gala, Bloom was seen “checking out” Kardashian. Though it was not a big deal back then, KatyPerry even had a laugh about it-, the fans remembered, and Bloom now being single made them curious again.

Nothing but a coincidence

People close to both of them say their Venice meet-up was just as friends, with nothing more going on. Yet, the timing made it more interesting. Bloom and Perry, parents to four-year-old Daisy Dove, split up for good just days before Bezos’ wedding. Perry, busy on tour in Australia, missed the big event, though she had been with Sánchez on a Blue Origin space trip and at her bachelorette party in Paris.

Bloom came to the wedding alone and really happy, as hevstarts a new part of his life, and is now focused on taking care of his kid and new movie projects. Kardashian keeps growing her SKIMS brand and just finished filming the new season of The Kardashians.
