WWAY hosts annual Senior Lifestyle Expo at Independence Mall

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — WWAY held our annual Senior Lifestyle Expo at Independence Mall Thursday.

The event gives local seniors the chance to learn about products and services across our area.

Our own Tomika Jackson and Matthew Huddleston also held a live show on site.

Sandra Yaun was one of the event’s attendees. Yaun says she worked in senior care for 30 years, but now that she’s retired, she came to learn more about what services are available for her husband.

“Even though I’m retired, I like to come and keep up on things because my husband, he’s getting old, and there’s so many good opportunities to learn about,” she said.
