MONROE, La. (KNOE) – Louisiana Tech Woman’s Basketball and WNBA legend Vickie Johnson has officially joined the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.
Johnson’s accolades include two-time WNBA All-Star, two-time conference MVP at Louisiana Tech University and 1996 Louisiana Player of the Year.
Johnson’s call to the hall serves as a testament to self belief and determination.
“My father left when I was two and my mom raised four kids by herself. He was one of the people that said I couldn’t. I just wanted to prove myself and I did it.”
