FORT SMITH, Ark. — A death investigation is underway after a body was found inside of a vehicle in the parking lot of Baptist Health in Fort Smith on June 29, according to the Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD).
FSPD said officers were on scene at the hospital at around 4 p.m. on Sunday to investigate. At this time, police say there are no immediate signs of foul play or threats to the public.
The investigation is ongoing. FSPD may release more information about the investigation when available and appropriate.
