Hi Veronica, thank you for joining us. Can you please introduce yourself and tell us a little about Omio?

Hi, I’m Veronica DiQuattro. I’m the President of Omio’s Consumer Business. Omio is a leading travel companion app that helps users plan and book travel from A to B. It allows you to find and book tickets across four different modes of transportation: trains, buses, ferries, and flights. Our goal is to simplify travel and make it easier for people to move around by offering a seamless experience connecting various travel options in one place.

What are your impressions of the Phocuswright event? Could you share your experience here?

Phocuswright has been fantastic so far. It’s always exciting to see so many players in the industry coming together to discuss innovation and new trends. It’s a great opportunity to exchange ideas and compare insights on the macroeconomic dynamics of the industry. What’s really valuable is the chance to collaborate with others and explore new ways of working together. Changing global mobility is a significant challenge, but it’s also a mission we’re all committed to, and events like Phocuswright provide a platform to strengthen those partnerships.

You were recently on a panel discussing inter-mobility and interconnectivity. Could you tell us more about what was discussed in the panel?

Yes, connected mobility and seamless journeys are key commitments for Omio. This is a unique point of differentiation for us. The idea is that we give users the ability to choose between various modes of transport—train, bus, ferry, or flight—when traveling from one place to another. We want to empower users by providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions about how they travel. One of the things Omio is focused on is unlocking more options for users, such as offering combined multi-leg journeys in a single ticket. For example, people may choose a combination of train and bus or even train and ferry. This flexibility is important as we see increasing demand for interconnected travel options across different modes of transport.

Omio is headquartered in Berlin, but your company operates globally. Could you tell us more about your company and its global reach?

Yes, Omio is growing very rapidly year on year. We’re seeing incredible results, with nearly 1 billion searches from users annually.
