At least three people were killed by Thursday’s powerful thunderstorms, which knocked out power for thousands of homes and left a twisted trail of destruction.
Two men were killed in Plainfield when the car they were inside on Myrtle Avenue was hit by a fallen tree, said city spokeswoman Jazz Clayton-Hunt.
