The Supreme Court administration has written to the government, seeking immediate eviction of former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud from the official bungalow for CJI, Hindustan Times reported citing the letter. The letter reportedly stated that Justice (retired) Chandrachud has stayed at the residence beyond the permissible period, with permission granted for retention expiring on May 31.
