A volatile week of weather is ahead in New Jersey with storm chances each day, including Monday when up to five inches of rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Chantal could cause flash flooding in portions of the state.
Rain showers and possible thunderstorms are likely to hit the state from late Monday morning into the evening and drop 1 to 2 inches of rain across a large swath of New Jersey, the National Weather Service said.
