The home is three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and spans over 3,000 square feet. HGTV says it’s a blend of classic Southern luxury and modern sophistication, fusing indoor and outdoor living and featuring earthy tones and coastal textures to create a serene space. The home’s great room has high ceilings and an open-concept design to connect the kitchen, dining, and living spaces seamlessly. There is a plethora of natural light and even a dedicated pet washing station in the spacious laundry room. HGTV announced the winner of this year’s HGTV® Dream Home is Tricia Smith of Bronx, New York. Smith is a longtime HGTV fan and has entered numerous sweepstakes over the years. She loves her new home’s backyard pool and its scenic location on a golf course. She’s also thrilled about the indoor and outdoor kitchens in the house. We would be too!
Originally from Antigua, Smith, 48, is a dedicated special education teacher. When she saw the sweepstakes on a TV commercial, she signed up for reminder emails to ensure she never missed a chance to enter. She was randomly selected from 118 million entries as the grand prize winner, taking home one of the most coveted prizes in the world of home makeovers.
