Meanwhile, Raj Thackeray on Friday said that he and Uddhav decided to join hands as Maharashtra was more important to them than fights and politics.
“I had said in one of my interviews that my Maharashtra is bigger than any politics and fight,” he said.
“Today, after 20 years, Uddhav and I have come together. What Balasaheb could not do, Devendra Fadnavis did… The work of bringing both of us together,” mentioned the MNS chief.

“We have come together to stay together. We will together capture power in the Mumbai civic body and Maharashtra,” he said, evoking loud cheers from the crowd in the packed NSCI Dome.
