Schumer is no stranger to health woes. The Kinda Pregnant star experienced a difficult pregnancy with her son, Gene, now 6, after battling hyperemesis gravidarum — a severe form of morning sickness that lasts throughout pregnancy and often requires hospitalization. “They were, like, ‘No, no … something’s really up. Your face looks so crazy that we think something’s up,’” Schumer told “Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alex Cooper in January 2025.
