Angelina Jolie is reportedly preparing to list her Los Angeles home for sale. The actress has been unable to move out of LA due to her divorce from Brad Pitt. Jolie purchased the home in 2017 for $24.5 million, which features six bedrooms and ten bathrooms. The home has some impressive Hollywood roots, with it serving as the home of the storied Hollywood director and producer Cecil B. DeMille, with him serving as one of the major figures in silent and sound cinema of the early 1900s. “She’s eyeing several locations abroad. She’ll be very happy when she’s able to leave Los Angeles,” a source said.

According to a source that spoke to PEOPLE, Jolie has never wanted to live full-time in Los Angeles. “She didn’t have a choice because of the custody arrangement with Brad,” they said, referring to her divorce from Brad Pitt, which was completed late last year.
The source claims that Jolie will be moving out of Los Angeles as soon as her twins Vivienne and Knox turn 18. “She’s eyeing several locations abroad. She’ll be very happy when she’s able to leave Los Angeles.”
The twins are currently 17 years old.

Charlie Chaplin lived next door to DeMille, with him later purchasing Chaplin’s estate and merging them, resulting in the property that is now under Jolie’s name.

In recent years, Jolie has opened up about her desire to move out of Los Angeles. “I grew up in this town. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” she said to The Hollywood Reporter.
“When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety,” she said. “I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
As for her future and where she’ll be living, Jolie has a few options. “I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world,” she said.
