Sacramento San Luis Obispo County Modesto Merced Fresno Organizers ask that participants: Most events are family-friendly and designed to be peaceful and welcoming. Unlike earlier immigration marches this week, the No Kings protests are organized to counter the June 14 military parade in D.C., which includes tanks, military vehicles and thousands of soldiers. No major protests are planned in Washington — instead, organizers are encouraging action “everywhere else” to redirect public attention from the parade.
