Sioux City and Fargo-Moorhead will resume play of 2-2 game at 6 p.m. Thursday after rain stopped Wednesday night’s game in the top of the seventh inning. Judds Brothers rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat Fargo Post 2 4-3 at the Jr. Jay CWS Classic. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Post 397 swept Park Rapids in an American Legion doubleheader on Wednesday night at Bob Marshall Field. The game was originally the first of a doubleheader, but the nightcap was called off due to lightning. The Patriots moved to 8-6 and host Rapid City at 7 p.M. Friday, June 20, at Young Field in Rapid City, South Dakota. The Stars outdueled Gretna in the Jr.-Jay CWSclassic in Omaha on Wednesday afternoon, leading 5-0 after the first inning and 8-5 after the second. The nightcap saw the Stars win 15-0 in five innings in the first game.

The two teams are scheduled to play Thursday night’s regularly scheduled game at 7:02 p.m.

Lincoln Northeast 4, Fargo Post 2 3
PAPILLION, Neb. — Judds Brothers (Lincoln Northeast) rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on Wednesday night to beat Fargo Post 2 4-3 at the Jr. Jay CWS Classic.
Down 1-0 since the third inning, Fargo plated three runs in the top of the sixth, aided by Hunter Giere stealing home plate during a double steal.
Sam Ovsak went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Fargo. Levi Sveet allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits in five innings for Post 2. Kellen Dougherty took the loss.
Fargo Post 400 8, Gretna (Neb.) 5
GRETNA, Neb. — The Fargo Post 400 Stars outdueled Gretna in the Jr. Jay CWS Classic in Omaha on Wednesday afternoon.
Post 400 plated three runs in the first and two more in the second inning to lead 5-0. Kane Mathiason paced the Stars with four hits. Caleb Christianson was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Joe Gould earned the win on the mound, allowing no runs on two hits with a strikeout in five innings. Cayden Neuharth doubled and Jayce Burns drove in two runs.
Fargo Post 400 3, Elkhorn (Neb.) 1
GRETNA, Neb. — Fargo Post 400 starter Ashton Rinas twirled a gem on the mound in the Stars’ win over Elkhorn in the Jr. Jay CWS Classic in Omaha on Wednesday.
Rinas worked all seven innings, awarding one run on three hits with four strikeouts. Jayce Burns knocked an RBI double and Alex Christopherson drove in a run on a single in the fourth inning.
Elkhorn plated a run in the fifth inning to trim the lead to one run, but the Stars plated another in the sixth on a fielder’s choice.
Burns finished 3-for-3 and Gus Pankratz was 2-for-3 with a double.

Williston 8, West Fargo 6
WEST FARGO — Williston’s Connor Ekblad belted a three-run home run in the seventh inning to defeat West Fargo on Wednesday night at Young Field.
West Fargo’s Luke Zink, Jett Collins and Trey Husar all finished 2-for-3. Austin Ohleen and Tate Herrmann both had two RBIs.
Caden Rademacher took the loss on the mound. Hudson Dinger struck out four in 2⅔ innings in the start.
Williston’s Chase Collings and Collin McCuistion both had three hits.

DGF Post 397 sweeps Park Rapids
DILWORTH — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Post 397 swept Park Rapids in an American Legion doubleheader on Wednesday night at Bob Marshall Field.
DGF won 15-0 in five innings in the first game and 7-0 in the nightcap.
In the first game, Post 397 scored eight runs in the third inning to run away with the lead. Cayson Bergee and Tanner Cadwell both had two hits including a double.
Landon Johnson earned the win on the mound, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out seven.
Park Rapids’ Brendan Trentbar had two hits.
In the second game, DGF scored seven runs in the first inning. Luke Krueger and Alex Anderson both pinged RBI singles in the frame.
Krueger tossed three innings, giving up no earned runs on three hits with four strikeouts. Scheriber entered for three innings of relief and struck out six.

Jackson Soderberg and Andrew Johanning both had two hits for Park Rapids.
