The 2025 BET Awards were a night to remember.

From performances by stars like Mariah Carey and Lil Wayne to a memorable speech from Doechii, the awards show, which took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, was full of music and heart.

Actors, musicians, and athletes came together for the celebration, arriving in red-carpet looks designed to stun — but some looks were better than others.

The BET Awards 2025 took place on June 9 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. While fans loved the women’s red carpet looks, the men also didn’t hold back when it came to experimenting with fashion. From minimalist looks to bold styles, they brought their A-game to the night.

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg attended the awards in an all-blue outfit. The rapper wore a long coat with buttons and pockets on the front and a round-neck sweatshirt underneath. He paired it with blue pants and blue and white sneakers to complete the look. The Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper accessorized his outfit with thick chains and rings.

The host of the BET Awards 2025 attended the awards in a black tux. The double-breasted blazer also featured a brooch on one side, making the outfit stand out. Hart completed his outfit with black shoes, a bow, and a classic watch. Kevin Hart returned to host the BET Awards for the first time since 2011—fourteen years ago.

Kirk Franklin went all out with his bold and experimental look at the BET Awards 2025. The musician wore a denim-on-denim outfit that had shades of blue and Louis Vuitton prints all over. The blazer also had pockets and buttons on the front for detailing. He completed his outfit with brown studded shoes, a watch, and a neck chain.

Shaboozey

The American singer attended the awards in a custom outfit by ELEVEN SIXTEEN. His attire consisted of a black blazer with shell detailing, a thick belt in the front, and black pants. Additionally, he also wore a cowboy-style hat and a golden and black-colored tie to complete his look.

Machine Gun Kelly

Kelly kept it casual for the BET Awards with a yellow shirt and black pants. His shirt was paired with a matching yellow tie, while his pants had an attached belt with a round buckle that made the look stand out. The rapper kept his look clean with black shoes, rings, and blade-shaped earrings.

Robin Thicke

Robin Thicke went with an all-black outfit with a double-breasted blazer, fitted pants, and shiny shoes. He accessorized with a gold chain featuring a large pendant that added contrast. Additionally, he also wore chunky sunglasses to complete his look.

Malcolm Barrett

The American actor kept his outfit fun and colorful for the BET Awards. He wore a light pink blazer with matching pants. It was paired with a white shirt underneath and a red bow to add contrast. Malcolm Barrett went with formal brown shoes that completed his red carpet look.

Jennifer Hudson was shining on the red carpet at the 2025 BET Awards on Monday night in Los Angeles. The EGOT winner performed onstage to honor BET Ultimate Icon Award recipient Jamie Foxx, singing the “Ray” Oscar winner’s song “Gold Digger.”

For her arrival on the red carpet, Hudson styled a long-sleeve black Gaurav Gupta gown. Hudson wore a collection of jewelry courtesy of Jared Atelier, totaling $270,000 and 46 carats. On the red carpet, Hudson wore the Jared Atelier Eternity Ring ($115,000), another diamond ring ($33,000) and a third multicut diamond ring ($13,000).

Along with the three rings, Hudson also wore the Jared Atelier Pear-Shaped Natural Morganite and Diamond Necklace ($85,000) and the Round & Marquise-Cut Diamond Drop Earrings ($32,000).

Vera Wang and Jared Atelier have a close collaborative relationship. Last December, the designer and jewelry label collaborated on a high jewelry collection featuring Wang’s design codes and infused with personal touches.

The high jewelry collection, featuring Vera Wang and Jared Atelier, showcased three pillars: Ribbons, Serpents and Diamond Strings. Overall, the collection featured 14 styles crafted from 18-karat white gold and encompassed a total of more than 150 carats of natural diamonds. Prices ranged from $12,500 to $125,000.

This year marks a major shift for the ceremony: the BET Awards rolled out an official Black Tie theme for the first time ever. Yes, you read that right – Culture’s Biggest Night has a dress code. With Harlem’s Fashion Row tapped to help shape the night’s visual identity, guests took the cue and showed out with glamorous gowns, sharp suiting, and editorial-level drama from head to toe.

Hosted by Kevin Hart, tonight’s show promises unforgettable moments, a nostalgic 106 & Park reunion, and a stacked lineup of performances from Teyana Taylor, Lil Wayne, GloRilla, Playboi Carti, and Leon Thomas.

Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with 10 nominations, while Doechii, Drake, GloRilla, and Future came through with six. In true BET tradition, the show makes space to honor icons. Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin are all Ultimate Icon recipients.

BET Awards Red Carpet Fashion: Keke Palmer Sparkles

Big Boss Keke Palmer stepped into the spotlight with a smile and a little black dress that did anything but play it safe. The sheer bodice was dotted with sparkles, and the dress flared out with a surprise tulle train for that perfect drama-meets-dazzle moment.

Doechii came through with a ’90s-it-girl remix that felt so fresh. The Grammy-winner rocked a bold red two-piece Miu Miu set featuring a bandeau-style top and asymmetrical skirt with gold trim.

Her midriff was on full display, and she brought the drama with chunky hoop earrings, stacks on stacks of wooden and amber-toned bangles, and a statement grommet belt that oozed vintage.

Her braids were long and sleek, styled with laid baby hairs and a side part for extra attitude. Bronze-glow makeup, glossy lips, and tinted sunnies sealed the look.

Ciara gave us high-low perfection in a Black Cong Tri fit that blended streetwear with full-on glam. She wore a black leather button-up with rolled sleeves tucked into a feathered mini skirt with a dramatic, trailing fringe.

She topped her mini skirt and top with an Atlanta “A“ fitted, repping her roots with style. Her jet-black bob was bone-straight with layered flips, and the layered diamond necklaces added just the right amount of sparkle. With strappy stilettos, soft glam, and that signature confidence—this look was Black tie, but all CiCi.
